’è molta Europa in questo numero estivo, soprattutto
molte destinazioni nel Mediterraneo, che dà il meglio
in questi mesi. Ma anche un mini speciale su Mauritius,
che in estate ha il clima migliore. E poi tante mete sparse tra
America, Medio Oriente e Asia. Perché l’estate dell’emisfero
boreale, da giugno a settembre, rimane sempre un periodo di
grandi spostamenti. Le mete sono diverse perché non si cerca
più solo la bella spiaggia. Si fanno sempre itinerari d’arte ma
anche culinari, di benessere, spirituali, quindi meno legati alla
stagionalità. Insomma si tollera di più la giornata di pioggia
se il nostro scopo non è solo quello di abbronzarci o fare una
nuotata.
Unnumero riccoquesto 32, e pienodi sorprese, come il nuovo
Hotel Missoni di Kuwait. Molte leproposte, sempreprovateper voi
dal sottoscritto o dai pochi, esperti collaboratori. Se vi suggeriamo
unameta, come sempre, sarà all’altezza delle vostre aspettative.

here is a big slice of Europe in this summer issue, above all
many Mediterranean destinations which ofer the best in
these months. But also a mini special on Mauritius, with
its superior summer climate. And then so many destinations
spread across America, the Middle East and Asia because
summer in the eastern hemisphere from June to September
remains the very best travel period. The destinations are
diferent because travellers no longer seek just beautiful
beaches. They still follow itineraries of art but also those for
cuisine, wellbeing, and spirituality. These, of course, are less
connected to the season. Hence we better withstand a rainy
day if our aim is not only tanning or a dip in the ocean.
Issue 32 is rich then and full of surprises like the new Hotel
Missoni in Kuwait. Many proposals, still tested for you by yours
truly or by our small troop of expert collaborators. If we suggest
a destination, it - as always - will be up to your expectations.
