La cabina della nuova First comprende anche una comoda
stanza per cambiarsi d’abito e godersi i pigiami forniti a bordo
dotata di uno specchio a fgura intera. Al momento è disponibile
sulla tratta Londra-AbuDhabi e saràprogressivamentedisponibile
sugli altri voli confgurati in tre classi. Dove non sono disponibili
le suite i passeggeri di Diamond First hanno sempre comunque
un comodo letto e un ampio spazio a disposizione. Non va
dimenticato che Skytrax nel 2010 ha assegnato il premio World
Best First Class proprio all’Etihad.
Se è vero che il tempo che si passa in volo è solo una parte
del tempo di spostamento in aereo non sempre è vero che i
servizi oferti a terra dalle compagnie sono all’altezza di quelli
di bordo. L’Etihad Airways ha fssato uno
standard di qualità per l’ospitalità pre-volo.
Le lounge all’aeroporto di Abu Dhabi sono
infatti un concentrato di eleganza, servizi
e tecnologie. Ospitano un totale di 200
passeggeri su un’area di 855 metri quadrati.
In quella di prima classe si trova un ristorante
con open kitchen dove i passeggeri in attesa
dell’imbarco possono pranzare o cenare à la
carte. E’ oferta una buona selezione di piatti
internazionali accompagnati da un’ottima
carta dei vini.
Ma lesorpresenonsonofnite. Ipasseggeri
hanno a disposizione anche una Six Senses spa per trattamenti
espressi al viso, ai piedi o alle gambe studiati per contrastare gli
efetti sul corpo dei lunghi voli. Ed è facile immaginare quanto un
massaggio possa rendere un transito più piacevole e rilassante.
Cabine doccia, cabine tv individuali completano l’intrattenimento
in queste oasi di pace.
